Introducing Educators to Billion Oyster Project

Interested in bringing inquiry and place-based educational offerings into your classroom? Want to connect students to New York Harbor, and teach about local phenomena? Come learn about the range of ways - at different depths of engagement - to get your students involved with Billion Oyster Project! This session highlights Billion Oyster Project’s free curriculum, upcoming professional learning opportunities and school group experiences, and also builds participants’ foundational understanding of oyster biology, history and ecology.
