What Students Do
Students explore oysters’ unique anatomy and life cycle. They observe patterns in oyster development and analyze how different structures change over time and work together as a system.
Pacing & Logistics
Pacing: 2 class periods (~90 min).
Logistics: Make a copy of the lesson plan, slides, and handouts. Print enough handouts for each student. Arrange oyster shells or structure cards for hands-on observation.
