NYC students present research and projects centered on local waterways at our annual celebration of Climate Action Day.

The 12th Annual Billion Oyster Project Student Symposium celebrates NYC's Department of Education Climate Action Day focused on water. This event provides a platform for NYC students to present research, learning, and projects centered on local waterways.
Projects may include, but are not limited to: art, design, engineering, scientific research, advocacy, environmental justice, recorded interviews, and more. We encourage creative, unconventional submissions.
New York City students are invited to showcase work related to New York Harbor. Registration deadline is April 10th, 2026.
