THE EXPERIENCE
Oyster Social at Red Hook Lobster Pound
Join us for our next cocktail and oyster-tasting event at the Red Hook Lobster Pound. The tasting includes a half-dozen local oysters donated by Lobster Place Seafood and Specialties prepared in three different ways, and paired with wine from Kim Crawford Wines, or a signature cocktail made with spirits from Culch Vodka.
What's included
Throughout the evening our hosts from Billion Oyster Project, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Kim Crawford Wines, & Culch Vodka will discuss the pairings along with the oyster’s historical and ecological role in New York City. Guests will also hear an overview of Billion Oyster Project's recent work, Red Hook Lobster Pound's role in our Shell Recycling Program, and find new ways to get involved on the waterfront in 2026.
This event will be hosted at Red Hook Lobster Pound. Seating may be communal and we will begin promptly at 6pm. If you'd like to stay for dinner afterwards, please book directly with the restaurant. We look forward to hosting you!
