Estuaries are the great nurseries of of our waterways, seeding the rest of the ocean with fish and harboring (literally harboring) massive biodiversity. At the same time, 22 of the largest 30 cities in the world are built on estuaries and human behavior has degraded these critical resources.
Despite living so close to the water, many coastal city dwellers don't feel connected to the nature that surrounds them, especially when it is polluted and neglected.
